^^spending my last weekend up at the lakehouse with the fam

Between packing, making last-minute purchases, sorting out flight details, Israeli phone company issues, and doing all the millions of little things you have to do before you move to a foreign country for a year, it was a busy two weeks. In a lot of ways, though, it was also pretty slow-moving, with lots of time spent waiting to leave. I spent lots of time with friends, saying goodbye to the couple of friends who are going straight to college and hanging out with those friends who haven't left for Israel yet. Right now I'm sitting on the porch of our lakehouse with my family, enjoying our final moments together. Sad to leave them but so excited to go. Have a great shabbos everyone! Talk to you on the other side!
